You may send as many letters as you wish. 

Incoming and outgoing mail may be opened and inspected for contraband. 

Incoming and outgoing mail will be confiscated and not given to you if it is determined that the mail is detrimental to security, good order, and public safety. 

Correspondence containing threats, extortion, etc., may result in prosecution for violation of federal laws.

Legal mail will be opened in front of you by staff to ensure no contraband is concealed. 

You may subscribe to and receive newspapers, magazines and books which are mailed directly to you from the publisher.  Some publications are not allowed in this facility.  Please see a staff member or your handbook for a list of those items.

You may receive photos, but there are restrictions on the number, size and content. Letters must be appropriately addressed in both the sender and the receiver sections they must have the correct postage or they may not be sent.
